Joining with Ron Nathan in managing The Nathan Agencies are three highly experienced insurance specialists:

• Glenn S. Allan, Ed.D, ChFC, Vice President of Amherst Insurance Agency, Inc.

Glenn Allan has been with The Nathan Agencies since 1991. He is Vice President and part owner of Amherst Insurance Agency, Inc. He is licensed to sell property and casualty insurance, life and health insurance, mutual funds and variable annuities as well as banking and mortgage services. He specializes in providing insurance and financial planning for home-based licensed family childcare and daycare centers.

Glenn has recently been appointed to the Board Of Directors for Berkshire Children's & Families. This an organization that works with foster care, adoption and family services.

While Glenn devotes much of his time to the childcare market, he also works with individual clients and businesses. He has received the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation from the American College. Glenn is a member of The Society of Financial Service Professionals. He received a BA from the University of Connecticut and an M Ed and EdD from the University of Massachusetts. Furthermore, he has given to the community by delivering Meals on Wheels to the elderly, and is on the Board of Directors of the UMass Basketball Court Club, a booster organization supporting UMass Basketball.

• Anna Holhut, CIC, Vice President of Amherst Insurance Agency, Inc.

Anna Holhut joined The Nathan Agencies in 1987 and is the Vice President of Personal Lines and part owner of the agency. A graduate of Central Connecticut State University, Anna holds a brokers license in the areas of property, casualty, commercial, life and health insurance. With 20 years of experience in the insurance field, Anna is a member of the Pioneer Valley Insurance Group (MA). In 1993 and 1997 she was recognized by CNA Insurance Company for her outstanding customer service by being given the Customer Service Representative of the Year Award. Anna holds the CIC and CISR designations.

Active in the Amherst Rotary, Anna was a 2006 recipient of the Paul Harris Fellowship Awards, given by the Rotary Foundation and Amherst Rotary Club. She lives in Hatfield with her husband Bob and their son.

• Dean Paddock, President, Paddock Insurance Agency, Inc./Commercial Lines Manager

Dean Paddock has been associated with the Nathan Agencies since June of 2001. As president and owner of the Andrew Paddock Insurance Agency, Inc. Dean has been involved in the insurance industry since 1978.

He was previously a senior technical staff specialist with Allstate Insurance, Farmington, CT spending 11 years in that position. In August of 1989 Dean joined his father Andrew at his Hadley sales office and became a license broker that same year.

Experienced in all aspects of the property casualty business, Dean now oversees the entire commercial department for the Nathan Agencies.

Dean graduated from St Michaels College, Winooski, VT in 1973 with a bachelors degree in political science. He lives in Hadley with his wife Alice and has 2 daughters, Jessica and Kristyn. He is an active participant in the annual Juvenile Diabetes Reasearch Foundations Walk to Cure Diabetes and the Florence, MA Elks Lodge’s classic car Cruise Nite program. He is a member of the Umass Basketball Select 100 Club and enjoys any and all sports. In his spare time, Dean likes to hike, bike and walk and spend time with his 3 grandaughters.
